Hospitality carpet today is possibly the most significant design statement in any renovation. The potential designs and pattern possibilities are spectacular, but we all need to acknowledge that the costs associated with this upgrade extend well beyond the material costs alone and those additional costs have become far more significant in recent years.
We at Mastercraft Floor Covering understand that you need to extend the life of your carpet and subsequently the installation. Your owners and asset managers expect a return on that investment. We can help, so let's do this together!
Without exception, all of our clients want to know what long term steps need to be taken in order to protect this investment so the projected life expectancy is achieved. The construction team that initially installed the project may have moved on so what now?
We have spoken at length to all of our carpet manufacturers, to our clients and to the carpet care experts and vendors that support this industry .We looked closely at failed projects and compared them with the more successful projects with spectacular 15 plus years of carpet life and we can now identify what steps need to be taken in order to prolong the need for another renovation.
The MasterCare Plan is the result of this research and we are happy to share it with you today.
Program Summary
We will meet on site initially to review all covered areas , these areas will be identified on an agreed MasterCare provided drawing . The project will be fully reviewed and any deficient areas will immediately be addressed. Warranty issues will be at no cost within our standard 5-year warranty period. Any additional issues will be covered at the significantly reduced MasterCare rate.
A full carpet care review will compare how your current maintenance program compares with the manufacturer's recommendations and warranties and will also address if any of those procedures might compromise the installation. Our goal is to share our past experiences with you and to suggest alternate methods if needed. Our significant portfolio of work with properties and carpet manufacturers will help you put an in-house care program that meets the long-term property goal. This program cannot succeed without the inclusion and cooperation of your maintenance team.
Visits from a MasterCare technician to review every inch of your property , Warranty covered issues will be addressed immediately. See below for warranty covered issues These repairs will be at no cost.
A full property review and report will be prepared on the same day. This report will identify potential wear issues, address and correct any in-house urgent care that was done since our last visit and any non-warranty repairs will be addressed the same day. If the work should extend beyond 1 day no cost other than the overnight costs will apply.
Any area that is seen to need a refresh of seam sealer, any Schluter strip or stone transition that needs to be addressed/sealed/worked will be done within this program provided the adjoining product has not failed . If the adjoining product has failed we will repair it if possible.
Small in-house projects can be included into the program at the MasterCare rate, provided they do not require additional manpower on site or an additional deployment.
Signing of a MasterCare contract extends the warranty to 5 years from date of signature rather than the date of the initial installation.
